After a long break, I write about me now thread again and inform you about the last few months;) went
early in February, to Sao Paulo to the intermediate seminar. Every morning at 6am we went by bus to the airport where we met two other volunteers Nina and Veronica. And off we went south by plane direction. After two hours we were finally here. Quick still waiting for Kiki, who came by plane from Porto Alegre and then it went on the search for the right bus to the hotel. With a few hiccups and Umsteigemanoevern we arrived in the pouring rain in Sao Paulo. But this shock should be overcome by another joyful. At the hotel we got our room cards ... what a pleasant surprise ... it was a double bed, TV, minibar, hot water, private bathroom and the great views of the Hochhauser São Paulo (the most beautiful night beleuchted). Oh man ... wonderful seminar on then I had rather not feel like I wanted to take advantage of the hot water and the super soft big bed. The next morning we met at Kurt and Ludwig, the leaders of Amntena. After a wonderful breakfast, where we ate so much that we sat down afterward with the ball round belly in the seminar room, the seminar was then going at last. There has been much over the last six months and talked in the course of the seminar turned out to be something for me, what had been previously aware of me ... I'm not satisfied with my work and found the work site ... and Max, in this low point ... as I did, he had spent the last few months with more brushing and raking leaves. .. and our wishes were clearly other ... during the seminar, then, and works such as high points and low points of the last six months, stood out for me so: These six months have been the most beautiful and simultaneously worst months of my life ... the most beautiful because of the country, my friends, Zezinho ... the worst because of the differences and work with the residents and the philosophy of the operation site.
But the seminar was not only this sad and reflective sides. At the same time It was pure relaxation. First, it was finally discovered something new ... Avenida Paulista, the cathedral was, and secondly, the seminar just pure luxury go ... food, great rooms and lots of sleep:)

There was someone who opened the door for us, someone who accompanied us to the table and about seven waiters buzzed around us and offered us a Koestlichleit after another. Rounded off with a magician at our table which we talked, we went back to the hotel around midnight, when all the tired, tired and tipsy from the wine to bed fell. Back in Terra Mirim, we asked the leaders to address and explains about our dissatisfaction. For Max, it even went so far that he would cancel his volunteer service.
After many endless talks and discussions, we were then admitted to more responsibility and praised improvement. From then on it went up steadily. I still have many layers of plaster and reception, but now I am integrated in many great projects, so that my dissatisfaction has somewhat abated. I enjoy now in the wonderful moments, particularly in working with the population, which gives me very great pleasure.
One of these Projects is a project in four schools in the region. Since last year in June, was negotiating over the implementation. Mitraeger sponsor and the project is the company Eternit, just 1 km away from Terra Mirim. At first it was a big and very expensive project, but due to some difficulties, is now only about one quarter performed by the original project.
The project, Horta escolar is based on the idea in the schools of the Vale Itamboatá vegetables and fruits to grow. So many positive effects will cause ... the whole village will be integrated (parent, student, teacher, cook and other interested parties), the children work outdoors and with nature, they have a responsibility (Giessen, etc.), the school board is healthier and the children eat the products they grown, have cultivated and harvested. Also worth mentioning is the pedagogical value of the school flower bed. Any reference to the subjects can more easily crop and practical are conducted.
Right now in the first "test run" there are four schools in the area.
past Tuesday was an agronomist with the help of Joey and Shirah teacher in each school in order to inspect the space for cultivation. Yes what else is new ... I was often with Zezinho a Sunday on the beach ... It was especially great. Nevertheless, we were still sitting a little bit, until we finally put the water on the earth. We therefore had to look for another place ... After a windchill 100km walk along the beach we finally arrived at a Reggaebar. We could not bring calm and enjoyed the rest of the day at our table in the middle of the water.
Oh my kitten ... but one day I saw a little emaciated Siamkaetzchen on the street in Camaçari, which was pitiful at meow. My heart said ... what a poor Kittens ... my head said ... what you want with a cat ... and won my heart. Said was done packed up the kittens and from there went to the vet. Who told us then that it would go the small Katzenmaedchen very good, it was just a little thin, but what would lie. Nor vaccination and off we went to the pet store to buy kitten food. With the kitten in my bag I'm Zezinho then you went home, has been happy at first. The next day Sara, however, won his heart back in to him at every turn and followed him as their affection proved:) Now Sara lives with Zezinho at home and is growing day by day.
