Ecoart 2009

Hello,

as already mentioned before, the weekend was here Ecoart, a festival that every year takes place.
The whole week we have prepared the ground for this festival and Thursday and Friday were then completed the final decorations.
Friday, the first day was Ecoart Mirim, the day especially for the ecological school and the children of other schools in the area. Program was among other things, Capoeira, Hip-Hop, games, songs, dances and much more. The individual public schools, who came each have a small presentation to the theme of this year's Ecoart "eu sou a teia da vida" (I am the web of life) had shown that it is in the form of a poem or a Theaterstuecks.
Saturday and Sunday was the "official" celebration. Program were Samba, Capoeira, Hip Hop, a drama and many other things.
It was very nice that this finally came to life the Fundação. If there is I think more often, but is dependent also always an organizational thing, organize)

For Saturday, we are currently with the young people of Palmares a Halloween party, which is currently undefined lot, but at least it has been around the place and a DJ, the rest is there are:)

there is some news again. We have for 3 months a guest from Austria. Saturday we have shown their Palmares. First there was the occasion for Children's Day, on 12 was a feast in the Catholic church for the children. It was a festival with music, theater and games.
Then there was the complete opposite: Candomblé! We were at a Candomblé ritual in Palmares. Candomblé is indeed an African religion that is represented here in Bahia, very strong. It was just great, you can not describe it in words, certainly a little strange, but very interesting. Colorful clothes, dances in Trance, a special African meal. Oh I'm excited:)
Yesterday I was all day at the football in Palmares, later danced with the youth meeting and then still on the road, where loud music on again. The way back was an adventure par excellence. We were taken by a brother of a friend with the car and with a windchill 180 km / h GEDU through the darkness, accompanied by loud music;) Also Todo enfiado, the favorite song of Brazilians (I will elaborate on the content of the song not now closer ;)) could not miss. A fast car with a lot of fun and a little scared haha

The weekend was just the hammer! After Saturday lunch, we went to Palmares to us there with Minho, Beginho (we know there have learned) and Julius Caesar (the real name) who have taken it gibg after Camaçari there to buy some Essensvorraete (cookies, Loade chocolate, milk products for the muscles of men ^ ^ and of course beer and wine) and still meet us there with another friend, Misinho. This was dancing, and Max and I have tried to learn this highly complicated dances, but really it did not work;)

On the next days there unrested gong to the beach, music, etc. in the evening was again made Tuesday morning by 5 I am then Minho, Junho (Minho brother) and Jocineide (what a girl I met there) drove home. slept without even a minute to ... At 7 I got in at the Fundação (Max is already a day down earlier) and had to start working at 8 ... up to 17h. I am almost dead with fatigue, but has for the weekend it is worth it. I have met many very nice people and when I'm gone yesterday afternoon to Palmares to buy something, I met many, and we sat up together in the evening and talked and drank a beer ... I say it only once: Vida loka, the motto of the Brazilian:)

Sun after I spent the Sunday in Palmares, have I discovered the Brazilian real life ... without tourists and tourist attractions, but with much kindness and open people.
morning I was at a football game, the Minho has played well and I could look at me the art of Brazilian football. What madness, even the little kiddies of tricks already ... because is not even a Fussbalfan as I thrilled;) where we met Camila, that girl of whom I've written before, can dance so well and works here. She lives in Palmares. After the game I was invited to lunch families of Minho. The apartment was very basic, but was offset by the kindness of the family 100 times.
Then we went to a birthday of a friend of Minho, where we have hit Sintia, who chaired the meeting in Palmares. The party was great. Loud music, lots of people and a good mood. About 15.00 clock was then the youth meeting, which was completely different than here in the Fundação. While this ensured that young people will also knowledge of the group, there was more designed for fun and amusement. Nevertheless, it was good in its way:) next weekend will be Max and I go camping with this group on the beach in Madre de Deus. We were already warned that we must complete novices only a "baptism" ... and as these young people have a sly behind the ears, I've also done a little afraid ...
Later we went back to the festival, where we stayed until 20.00. Unfortunately I then had to go already, as the last bus had to drive just after eight at the festival ... I met many new people and have a bit Arrocha and Samba de Roda learned ... there are sooo many dances, all of I think most complicated are;)

Today I am with the school to Danda, drove into a nearby village, where we hiked through the forest. On the way we had to go through puddles, mud, clay, we had to climb over fences and overcome other obstacles. When we arrived after 2 1 / 2 hours again in Danda, were all tired. But we have in stock watermelons, juice and biscuits taken so that all children could strengthen ... after that went with full bellies and happy home:)
